The castle has free parking inside the estate gates, just past the reception.

Driving
From Ljubljana follow the H4 to Nova Gorica, then Gradisca. From Venice take the A4 east. Italian motorways are tolled — keep a card handy. Slovenian motorways require a vignette.

Italy uses the euro; Slovenia does too, so no currency change if you fly via Ljubljana.
